One of the most important weeks of the sailing calendar is the Skandia Cowes Regatta Week; this boating event takes place annual and has been in action since eighteen twenty-six which makes it the longest running sailing event today. With more than seven-hundred ocean racing boats & 8,000 challengers playing a part, being analysed by fifty thousand spectators a day, Skandia Cowes week has been offered the title as one of the most important sailing business hospitality & community event of the total year.
The eight thousand five hundred contestants are a mixture of Commonwealth and European class able sailors to beginner sailors.
